In February of 2013, Pier Productions, Inc. had the honor to work with Golf Channel and NBC to edit content on location for the Phoenix Open.  During the 6 day edit period, we edited a series of opens and recaps for the historical televised event, as well as a music video for Jake Trout and the Ball Washers.

During the 2013 Waste Management Phoenix Open an incredible 20 tournament records were either tied or broken. Tournament champion Phil Mickelson broke 4 records and tied 8 others, including joining Arnold Palmer, Gene Littler and Mark Calcavecchia as three-time tournament champions.

Mickelson’s remarkable 28-under par, also helped the field break the lowest scoring average record three times, including the 1st Round (69.015), 4th Round (68.527) and Overall Cumulative Scoring Average (68.954).

In addition to Mickelson and the field’s record-setting performances, the tournament also set attendance records during Friday’s 2nd round (121,901) and Saturday’s 3rd round (179,022).

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to continuing our relationship with Golf Channel and NBC.
